Beef Cajun Spice Burgers

  • 1 kg Australian premium beef mince 
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped and 1/2 red onion sliced 
  • 2-3 tsp Woolworths Select Cajun Spice BBQ Seasoning 
  • 2 tbs chopped flat-leaf parsley 
  • 1 tbs tomato sauce 
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten 
  • ½ cup fresh breadcrumbs 
  • Olive oil 
  • 8 sourdough rolls 
  • 1 small butter lettuce 
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced 
  • 225g can sliced beetroot 

  1. Mix mince, onion, seasoning, parsley, sauce, egg and breadcrumbs together in a bowl until well combined. Roll into balls and flatten to rissoles. 
  2. Pack into a container, layering a square of baking paper between each rissole. 
  3. Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat. Brush rissoles with oil and cook, turning regularly, for 8 minutes or until well browned and cooked through. 
  4. Split rolls in half. Fill with lettuce leaves, tomato and beetroot. Top with rissoles and slices of red onion.
